Chapter V
Toa Kaita
I closed my eyes. I knew it probably wouldn’t hurt. Then I looked at my friends. I saw Ehthak, completely stunned, Sovix trying to draw his blade, and having a little difficulty. Then I saw Shadow. He was not scared much at all.
I looked back up at Nahzo. “If you kill me, you will die.”
Nahzo laughed at me again. “I still think you don’t know who I fully am. Oh well. I don’t feel like explaining again. DIE!!” With that, he pulled the trigger. Click.
“What?” He said. Click. Click-click-click. It wasn’t firing! Sovix had also drawn his sword.
“Feel death!” Sovix said as he lunged at Nahzo. Nahzo just barely moved out of the way. I moved my arm out of the way just in time. Then I used my mask and made my fist go really, really fast. BAM!! I sent Nahzo flying.
“Guys! I have a good idea!” Ehthak said.
“What is it?” I said
“We need to become a Toa Kaita!”
“Toa what?” Shadow said
“A Toa Kaita! That’s when three Toa merge together and become a super-Toa! A Toa Kaita!”
“Well, what are we waiting for?” I said
“Hold on. We need a decoy.” Ehthak said
“Why?” I asked
“Because we’re very vulnerable while we are merging.”
“I’ll be the decoy.” I said. I had an idea what to do. I shot toward Nahzo with and aimed a blow. He was on the top of a rock… kind of dazed. He looked up when he heard me coming. SLAM! My fist met his chin again. This time he reacted better. The force sent him backward and off the tall rock. He pulled a back-flip out of it, landed it, and started energizing himself. Then he grabbed his scimitar and ran toward me. When he swung his blade, I ducked under it and slammed into his chest. I also was using my Kakama mask. So I started running toward the rock that Nahzo had been on before. Using it as a ramp, I shot into the air, still holding Nahzo. I hurled him a little higher, and then I shot above him. WHAM! I shot down and hit his back.
Man, I’m doing better now then I did before! I thought right before we both slammed into the ground. CRUNCH! Now that hurt.
“Ow…” I said. Then there was a flash of light from behind me. Not the weird, psycho white light that flashed when Nahzo had first appeared to us at the Island, but a warm, yet powerful light that screamed the fate of Nahzo. At this point, Nahzo must have thought that this was enough.
“Out of my way!” He yelled. He hit me hard in the chest. It knocked the wind out of me. I looked at the light. It was beginning to die down.
“What are you trying to pull now?” Nahzo said.
When the light had completely stopped, there was only one figure. He was a Toa Kaita! Unlike the Toa Kaita of the Toa Nuva, this Toa was roughly the same size that I was.
“Who are you?” Nahzo said.
“I am Toa Tahlvi, Toa of Fire, Ice, Earth, and Stone. Prepare to die!” Tahlvi Replied.
Nahzo closed his eyes and laughed. “Do what you want. You can pull anything you want. But it won’t save your little planet—“ KA-BAAAAM!! Toa Tahlvi Had hit Nahzo square in the face! So hard that there were little ripples going through out Nahzo’s body. I guess that the combination of Earth and Stone made him really, really strong. Then Tahlvi pointed his finger toward Nahzo. Then he made a thick ice wall in front of Nahzo. SLAM! The ice cracked.
“Wow… that was impressive. But that is nothing. I can beat you, and anything.”
“Bring it on then!” Tahlvi said.
Nahzo shot toward Tahlvi, fist raised. Tahlvi reached out his hand, open palmed. He caught Nahzo’s fist, and hurled it back at him. SLAM! Nahzo fell to the ground. But then he grabbed Tahlvi’s ankle, and pulled him down. He drew his dagger, intending to kill Tahlvi right then.
“STOP!” I said. I grabbed Nahzo’s sword that he had dropped when
I hit him in the chest. I raised it above my head and aimed it toward Nahzo’s neck. It proved to be very bad. He moved his very quickly and stabbed me in the stomach.
From here till a little later will be what Tahlvi (later Shadow, Sovix, and Ehthak) told me. I had passed out from the blow. Not that I was weak, but we think it was poisoned. But because I had been wounded, the Toa Kaita started going into Rage. But a different kind of Rage. This Rage was the Rage of all three Toa together. It must have been amazing. He said that the surrounding got brighter.
“What’s happened to you?” Nahzo said.
“This is Rage beyond your reckoning!” Tahlvi replied.
“You still can’t beat me.”
“Watch and learn.”
Tahlvi shot toward Nahzo. He did a power-strike that shook the earth. Nahzo shot off the earth faster that you would’ve believed. There was a blur where he was. Using jet-boots and wings, along with teleporting, he got in front of Nahzo. WHAM! Another power-strike. This repeated for a little while, until Nahzo hit the ground. He made a crater. Surprisingly, he got up, walked out of the hole, and shot toward Tahlvi. This proved very good for Tahlvi. He continued to play ping-pong with Nahzo as the ball for quite some time.
“There! That should do it.” Tahlvi said after making the crater bigger. When Nahzo got out of the hole, he said
“Well, that was impressive. I’m not sure how you pulled the unification trick, but I must admit, it was very impressive. But tell me, how do you plan to stay like that?”
“I will stay like this till you die!” Tahlvi replied. “But what can you do now? I played with you like a cat and mouse. I’m stronger then you are!”
“Oh, but there you have an error. I am stronger. Eat this, Tahlvi!” With that, Nahzo zapped Tahlvi with a temporary paralyzing beam.
“Not, for the obliteration of this confound planet!!” Nahzo said. He re-energized the same sphere that he made before. At this point I woke up. It was all foggy, so I couldn’t do much. But I did do something.
“Stop!” I yelled. Nahzo looked at me.
“Oh. You’re still alive. Oh well. I defeated your friend Tahlvi here and now, I will destroy your planet—“ But Nahzo never finished what he was saying. For right then Tahlvi shot up and BAM! hit Nahzo in the face. Tahlvi was still in Rage. Nahzo lost hold of his sphere and it un-energized.
“That’s for wounding my friend,” Then he shot toward Nahzo and hit him harder. “And that’s for trying to destroy earth!”
“Gosh, I would have thought that you would’ve stunned longer then that!” Nahzo said. “But how about your friend?” Then he zapped me with the same beam. That was weird. All my muscles got really tight so I couldn’t move at all!
Then Nahzo energized the same sphere to destroy the earth again.
“Say goodbye!” Nahzo said. Then he hurled the sphere toward earth.
